internet timeline screenshot Internet Timeline was the first assignment that I was required to write HTML and CSS from scratch. I researched the history of the internet and found facts that I thought were interesting and created a timeline of the internet by decades from 1950 to 2000. This was extremely challenging for me, because I had little experience creating web sites. It may not have been my best piece of work, but I was amazed that I completed the assignment. discography screenshot The web site I created called Discography was an assignment that I had to create to showcase a band's album releases. Along with basic HTML and CSS, we had to link the thumbnails and titles of the album on my home page to the appropriate album on the discography page. This web site turned out better than my previous ones, but was still early work. doggie daycare screenshot The best web site I've created so far using HTML is Bow Wow City. The assignment was that I had to create a web site for a prospective client with a list of things the client wanted on their web site. I used HTML to create the basics, including a form for the client's customers to register online, and I used CSS to create the style of the web site. Then I created a slideshow using JavaScript. Finally, I was required to use CSS Sprites for the images on the Bow Wow City web site. The Sprites and slideshow were the most challenging of the web site, but I managed to complete the project on schedule.

eco-nomic solutions screenshot Eco-nomic Solutions was a project that I worked on with a group of three other people in our web application team. We created a web site for Business Professionals of America competition. At state, we won first place in the web application category. Our web site was for a real client, where we made a forum and calendar for a green development company located in Key West, Florida. Users were required to register and login before adding any data to the forum or calendar. the bug guy screenshot In my spare time last summer, I redesigned a website for The Bug Guy in Oklahoma City. It was the largest website I've had to create so far. The biggest challenge was making the website with a similar style to what it had, but make it look more professional and more efficient. In the end, my client and all of his clients are pleased. redesign project screenshot One assignment I had to do for school was redesign a current live website with an application that needs help. I found a website that I thought needed to be redesigned: The Barber Salon. It had a lot of navigation links with next to nothing on each page, so I consolidated the navigation into meaningful links and that increased the content on each page. The site had a place to log in, but there was no link to register anywhere on the site. So, I created a functioning register and log in for the website. I also improved the logo to coordinate with the style and color scheme of the site.
