In this section we were introduced to Dreamweaver. This is a software package that makes creating web pages easier, but not necessarily better. There are drawbacks to using a software package, but it well worth knowing. We learned how to create links, naming pages, working with special markup, HTML character entities, creating lists and tables and fitting a page into an existing site. We also worked with Dreamweaver to control backgrounds with CSS, editing images, flash objects, creating and working with templates. We learned how to create forms and how to validate them. We used JavaScript to design animations, use AP layout elements and create Spry navigation bars. We also use a database to create data driven pages. Finally we learned how to upload files using Dreamweaver.
