The Millennium Park is home to many of Chicago's greatest artistic attractions, including the Cloud Gate, the Crown Fountain, as well as gardens and other attractions that have had a cultural impact on Chicago. Originally used as the home field of the Chicago White Stockings, the area was ravaged by the great Chicago fire. It wasn't until 1998 that plans for the park were made final and work began.
